If you are travelling to Puerto Vallarta for vacation, it is imperative that you check to see if your coverage at home is accepted and will cover you in Mexico. Your best bet is to purchase a good traveler’s insurance policy.

Or if you live here full time, it is important to have an insurance that is widely accepted at all private hospitals in the area. Remember that neither U.S. Medicare nor Canadian Government coverage are accepted here.
