Pope Francis: 1 in 50 Catholic Clergy Are Pedophiles
Pope Francis revealed that 2% of the Catholic clergy, including priests, bishops and cardinals, are pedophiles. He said his colleagues present him reliable data that according to the latest Vatican statistics, indicates pedophilia within the Church is at 2%.
The figure represents around 8,000 priests out of a global number of about 414,000 Catholic priests worldwide.
