Wednesday will see protests in almost every state in Mexico, and many cities of the world, to demand justice for students murdered, disappeared or wounded in the southern state of Guerrero.
Wednesday has been declared a day of nationwide actions demanding justice over the 43 Mexican students who disappeared after being detained by local police in September.
Actions will call for the safe return of the 43 disappeared Ayotzinapa students, the replacement of Guerrero Governor Angel Aguirre and criminal action for those responsible for the deaths and disappearances of the teacher-training students on September 26-27 in Iguala Guerrero.
A 48-hour strike is already underway at some 70 secondary and higher education institutions.
In Mexico City, a torchlight march in the evening will form part of city wide actions in the capital including a student strike at its major universities.
