More than 30,000 faithful gathered in Leon stadium on Sunday to pray the Rosary for drug traffickers and organized crime. Led by the Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of León, Guanajuato, His Exc Mgr Juan Frausto Pallares, organized groups from different parishes came in procession. Many others had been waiting inside the stadium from the very early morning hours. They came together to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 'Living Rosary'.

"It is a beautiful tradition, where you feel the presence of the Virgin and God, and we can ask for help for someone else, not just for ourselves", said one of the participants. There was emotion and a deep silence when Mgr Frausto Pallares announced that this occasion was a moment to pray for drug traffickers, for killers and organized crime, because "we want peace", said the Bishop.
