Most Dangerous Country to Be a Priest is Now Mexico

Mexico is the most dangerous country in the world to be a priest, a study by a Catholic agency reveals.
In its annual 2014 report, the Catholic Media Center discovered that over the last 24 years, 47 attacks against members of the Catholic church, including five murders of priests in 2014 alone.
Elsewhere in the world in 2014 three priests were killed in Venezuela and two in the United States.
The report states that these people lost their lives "because of their effective pastoral action and sense of absolute fidelity to Christ and Church.”
