A few blocks away from epicenter of the Super Bowl Central block party, visitors can get a little taste of Mexico with their football fun.
An exhibit set up specifically dedicated to Mexico includes a little beach, interactive entertainment, photo ops, prizes, and even a 360 degree photo booth that will make it look just like you’re on vacation in Mexico City.
This is the first time that the Super Bowl Committee has invited Mexico to be a part of the Super Bowl, and they are using the opportunity to show Arizona everything Mexico has to offer.
"We’re honored that the committee invited us to be a partner here," Gerardo Llanes of the Mexico Tourism Board said. "We want to show a modern Mexico, a Mexico that has great things to offer. We have a lot of great cities, great colonial towns, pyramids, architecture. Mexico is a huge country with a lot to offer."
The Super Bowl Central block party is packing 12 blocks of Downtown Phoenix with interactive entertainment for fans of all ages. The free, family-friendly event will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. every week day until the Big Game, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
