In October, Marvel Comics will launch a series of covers of their most famous comic books, such as the Mighty Thor, Avengers, The Invincible Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, among others, in shades of pink to join the crusade against breast cancer.
In this way, Marvel Comics shows its support to the Susan G. Komen Association for the Cure, which is a Foundation, commonly known as the "pink ribbon," that is dedicated to helping women with this disease.
The Special Edition of the famous comics is intended to raise funds that will go directly to the Foundation.
It is not the first time that Marvel has worked with Susan G. Komen for the cure. They previously used the image of several superheroines showing how to perform a self-examination to prevent breast cancer.
