Cocodrilo en playa de cozumel (Iliana Acosta)

A crocodile visiting a Mexican beach drew a crowd of astonished onlookers as it walked between sunbathing chairs to go back into the water.

The video shows a man walking urgently on Palancar Beach in Cozumel and shouting for beach-goers to "get out" of the water and clear a path through the sand.

A moment later, the crocodile appears and walks straight down the beach toward the water, passing between two beach chairs.

A group of onlookers followed the crocodile, taking photos and video with their cellphones, as it climbed back into the water and began to swim away.
