Mexico grapples with human trafficking (CCTV English)
Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has reasserted that the commitment of the Mexican federal government is up with the respect and protection of the human rights, but he recognized that there are pendent aspects to be solved in that matter.
Peña Nieto headed the delivery of 2016 the National Human Rights Award of Mexico 2016, which corresponded to sociologist and anthropologist Rodolfo Stavenhagen post mortem, for his work in the promotion and defense of fundamental rights for indigenous communities and peoples.
Peña Nieto said there is still a lot to go in human rights, and urged to face such challenges with unity and deepening of culture.
