Commuters in Mexico City have been filmed jumping out of a moving train after it failed to stop at 12 stations last week.

In a video uploaded to Facebook by Anselmo Martinez, the train can be seen driving through a station in the city's underground metro system without stopping.

Those traveling on the train appear agitated they cannot get off and by the time it arrives at the next station, three men manage to pry the automated doors open so that those brave enough can jump out.

At least two men manage to jump out of the moving train as it passes through the station, one of them hitting their head on the wall at the end of the platform.

It is unknown whether anybody who jumped from the train suffered serious injuries.
