Though there can be differences in cultural values and practices that prevail in the countries, it has been revealed that Mexico was at the top to adopt all the strategies to prevent swine flu. Britain ranked at bottom of the list.

The revelation has been made in the Lancet and the study was taken out by a group of researchers from Harvard School of Public Health and other institutions. Without doubt, it can be said that it is one of the largest studies taken out with regard to swine flu.

In order to reach at the above given conclusion, the study researchers carried out telephonic conversations in 2010, which involved 900 people. The UK, US, Mexico, Japan and Mexico were the countries from where participants were randomly selected.

Survey pattern was aptly decided, so that it can be known that which country was most obedient in following the international guidelines to prevent swine flu. As said earlier, Mexico has topped the list and Britain from the bottom.

However, there are many factors, which have led them to be in such position. Mexico was the place, where swine flu originated, so that can be the reason for the country to adopt all the guidelines. Meanwhile, Britain was least affected by the flu, so that could be the reason for their casual approach.
