The Mexicans eased to a 3-1 win over Canada while Honduras needed extra time to beat fierce rivals El Salvador 3-2.
Both finalists qualify for London 2012, regardless of the result of the qualifying tournament final.
Mexico secured their place at the London Games without being able to call upon players such as Javier Hernandez and Carlos Vela, who could be available in the summer.
They are also reigning Pan American Games champions, having beaten Argentina in the final, so could pose a serious threat in London.
That means there is one spot left at the London Games which will go to the winner of a play-off between Senegal and Oman, who are coached by former Rangers boss Paul Le Guen, to be played at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on April 23.
The draw for the Olympic football tournament takes place the following day.
Football is the only Olympic discipline where there are tickets still available, but Olympic organisers hope sales will pick up once the draw has taken place and people know who will be playing.
