Marine scientist Ken Dunton talks about what the disappearing ice means for humans and animals in the "new" Arctic. (utexasCNS)
Ken Dunton, professor of Marine Sciences at the University of Texas, has studied in the Arctic for the past couple decades. In a new short video, The New Arctic, produced for the College of Natural Sciences at UT by filmmaker Daniel Oppenheimer, Dunton tells a similarly sad tale of the human loss accompanying the loss of ice.
This short (10-minute) video is among the most salient storytelling I’ve seen illustrating just how fast warming temperatures are changing life in the north.
