MEXICO CITY - Mexico City is ready to receive the best street art (urban or street art) from April 30 to May 5, during the All City Canvas Festival, organizers said.
At least nine international artists will decorate walls and buildings considered icons in the capital, in order to make the city one of the places that boosts the training and dissemination of urban artists.
Artists like Roa (Belgium), Escif and Aryz (Spain), Vhils (Portugal), Mac (USA), Interesni Kazki (Ukraine), Sego and Saner (Mexico), and Herakut (Germany) will work on nine emblematic walls of the city.
Thus, the city will offer space to the best talents of the urban art movement globally to achieve a unique experience and provide citizens with a new visual cultural choice.
According to the schedule, the event is divided into three areas called Walls, Words and Pieces, said the Secretariat of Culture of the Federal District in a press release.
Walls will consist of painting on nine unique and representative walls of the city; Words will be a series of four conferences and Pieces will be the exhibition of works by nine artists participating in the festival.
Cities like Paris (France), London (UK), Barcelona (Spain), Berlin (Germany), Sau Paulo (Brazil) and Toronto (Canada) are considered key points of this artistic movement.
