March 29, 2013

The Vallarta Yacht Club's Youth Sailing Program invites people who like to dance (or watch) to join the joy and excitement of the Tango in Paradise benefit.

This fun fundraiser will support the activities of our young sailors in Banderas Bay in preparing them to improve their sailing skills and compete in nautical events.

Please join us at the Vallarta Yacht Club on Saturday, April 6, at 6:30 pm, for what is guaranteed to be a night of fun and adventure: Tango in Paradise, 2013.

Whether you like to dance, or prefer to watch the energy and color on the dance floor, there is enjoyment for everyone, and you will surely love the Tapas and Sangria.

While sipping your ice-cold drink, you will enjoy Beautiful Christina and Handsome Hugo spin in the air, both incredible accomplished dancers from HBoss Entertainment.

After the short Tango performance, group and individual Tango lessons will follow with music playing into the night as participants get to practice, show off and just have fun.

Your donation entrance fee of 300 pesos will include Tapas dinner and a welcome drink of Sangria, all the tango you can dance and access to incredible raffle and silent auction items, donated by incredibly generous companies around the Bay who care and enjoy contributing to the community. Tickets for children under 12 are half price.

Vallarta Yacht Club is located in Nuevo Vallarta in the Paradise Village Marina.

For more information about the event or the Junior Sailing Program, please telephone the Vallarta Yacht Club at (322) 297-2222 or email ibisdeteresaPR@vallartayachtclub.org.

It's a family fun night, open to the public. Please join us!

The Vallarta Yacht Club Jr. Sailing Program provides Fun and Safe sailing lessons for children throughout Bahia de Banderas. Children are provided with individual sailing vessels, including Optimists and Lasers, and taught water and equipment safety and sportsmanship. As they grow and start racing, through this program they are eligible to participate in competitive regattas with youth from all over Mexico and the International sailing community. Along the way, children gain self-confidence and pride in their accomplishments, while learning decision making and team work skills, as well as developing character, knowledge of and love for the sea.
