Committed to contributing to the welfare of the community and those in need, the Barcelo Puerto Vallarta made a donation to five civil associations of this city.
Hotel managers made delivery of the donation to the System for Integral Family Development (DIF) Vallarta, headed by Magaly Fregoso Ortiz, who then made arrangements for delivery to the five non-profit organizations.
Arturo Cruz Castellanos, Human Resources Manager, made the donation deliveries to Pasitos de Luz Day Care Center for Special Needs Children, Asilo San Juan Diego Senior Citizen Home, Casa Hogar de Niñas Shelter for Girls, Casa de Día and the Red Cross (Cruz Roja) of Puerto Vallarta.
The donation by Barcelo Hotel consisted of 118 king size bedspreads, 38 standard comforters, 33 single bedspreads and 33 pillows.
The purpose of the donation is to contribute to the task undertaken to support our community's less fortunate and vulnerable people, including children with disabilities and older adults.
"We thank the Hotel Barceló for sending us this donation and DIF Vallarta for delivery," says the Director of the Pasitos de Luz foundation.
The operation of these organizations depend primarily on resources obtained through donations made by public and private companies.
Barcelo Hotel is located at Mismaloya Beach, just south of Puerto Vallarta.
