It is a cruel reality that the animal population is overflowing and the abandonment of pets by the public is growing.

Because of this, TVC Networks has responded in the need to raise public awareness in the support of our companion animals and the value of their lives.
Project Adopta, in conjunction with civil society and associations, brings this topic to the public's attention through TVC Networks' channel viewers, where interaction is promoted in forming awareness.
TVC Networks offers the ability to broadcast nationwide to more than 1,100 cities, including Puerto Vallarta, in contributing to a better society and working towards the common goal.
As the Adopta project progresses, TVC Networks will run an advertising campaign for local events in showcasing adoption opportunities and awareness information.
The first event of the Adopta project in Puerto Vallarta will take place at the Agustin Flores Contreras Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 7, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Use the football field entrance. This event will be televised by TVC Networks.
Future events will be broadcast on the various TVC Networks' channels of TVC, TVC Sports (Deportes), Platino, Panico, Cine Mexicano and ARTVC, as well as in their Cable Guide (Cableguia) publication and social network totalling more than 650,000 users.
In conjunction with the Adoptathon, PEACEAnimals will be at the Stadium on Saturday offering their free spay/neuter clinic beginning at 9:00 am. If you have a healthy, sterilized rescue cat(s) or dog(s), feel free to bring them and interview potential adopters. You are also welcome to bring pets needing spay/neuter surgeries or other treatments. No food or water after midnight before surgery day. Animals must be at least 8 weeks old. They will be treated for parasites, fleas, ticks and mange, if it is present. Pregnancies terminated on request. Euthanasia performed if the animal is critically ill or injured. All services are free.
Along with TVC, these events are being promoted by the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board, Puerto Vallarta Municipal Government, Acopio Animal Pound of PV, PV Animal, PEACEAnimals and the Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta.
