University of Guadalajara to Present Folkloric Ballet Benefit for PV's Public Library
La Culebra (Ballet Folclórico de la UdeG) (elAsra)
Spend a wonderful evening and share the caring and support for the most important cultural institution in Vallarta, Biblioteca Los Mangos.
The Guadalajara University Folkloric Ballet will take the stage of Teatro Vallarta on November 29 at 8:00 pm as a benefit performance for our Puerto Vallarta Public Library.
Our Library serves some 6,000 users each month, has over 25,000 Spanish books, 5,000 English books, internet service and a variety of workshops. AND without government funding! The Library is a non-profit organization and always in need of donations and fundraising events. Many of the users are students who do not have access to the books and internet so vital to their studies.
You can help and support the library doubly on Friday, November 29. First come to the Colors on Canvas exhibition at the Library beginning at 6:00 to see and purchase affordable pieces of original art. Then head over to Teatro Vallarta for a one night only performance by the University of Guadalajara Ballet Folklorico to benefit Biblioteca Los Mangos.
Donation tickets are 200, 300 and 400 pesos and can be purchased at Los Mangos Library, Teatro Vallarta Box Office (open daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm), Belmar Hotel, La Leche Restaurant, Buenaventura Hotel, the CUCosta University in Ixtapa, or through Ticketmaster.
