Be sure to mark your calendars now for February 8th and plan to attend the biggest and best charitable event of the season, the Celebración Para los Niños (Celebration for the Children), to benefit the children living at the Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (RISE) Shelter and also Sendero de Esperanza y Amor (SEA).

The venue again this year will be the Gran Salon of Secrets Vallarta/Now Amber Resort from 5:00 until 9:00 pm. (located behind Coppel on Medina Ascencio near Plaza Las Glorias).

Plenty of delicious food will be available from many of Vallarta's finest restaurants, terrific live entertainment, live and silent auctions, and a ton of fun will be in store for everyone.

Live music will include special performances by Paco, The Zippers, Los Banbinos and The Xuitla Dancers. The children of the shelters have also prepared a special performance.

Plan to get your tickets early, as there will be a limited capacity. Donation tickets are available for 700 pesos per person (around $60 US/CDN) and can be purchased around town at the businesses showing the poster including:

• Daiquiri Dick's (314 Olas Altas in Old Town Vallarta)
• Erika Lamas Permanent Make-up (Royal Pacific Yacht Club, Timon 1-A in the Marina)
• Palomas Doradas Restaurant & Bar (Club de Tenis Puesto del Sol, local 12, in the Marina)
• RISE (251 R. Flores Magon, Col. Benito Juarez)and Sendero de Esperanza y Amor (SEA).
