This initiative coincides with the recently finished and wonderful addition to our community of the Punta Mita Running and Jogging Path and will serve as the Inauguration of the Path on Saturday, February 15, 2014.

The Path is a welcome addition to this wonderful & complete destination that is Punta Mita and has certainly enhanced the experience for the fitness and wellness fans.
Each with a different theme, our Fun Runs will focus less on breaking records and more on getting active and having a good time. Fun runs are a great way for beginners to get motivated and for seasoned athletes to break up the monotony of training.
Our first in the Series of Fun Runs will be The Punta Mita Color Run, an event to promote healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to celebrate our new running path. The Punta Mita Color Run is a five-kilometer, timed race where our “Color Runners” are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:
• Wear white at the starting line
• Finish plastered in color!
The fun continues after our Punta Mita Color Runners complete the race with an unforgettable Finish Festival in the Lobby area of the St Regis Punta Mita with a late informal stand up breakfast, music and prizes – we could not think of a better way to officially open our Jogging & Walking path.
Prizes will be awarded for:
• Mens Category
• Ladies Category
• Junior Mens & Ladies (under 14)
We will meet in the St. Regis Punta Mita Lobby at 9:00 am with kick-off for the race at 9:30.
The entry inscription fee is 150 pesos per person. As is tradition in all our special events, we are delighted to donate the inscription fees of our Inaugural Punta Mita Fun Run to our local Punta Mita Foundation.
