20 Lucky Vallarta Citizens Share 7 Million Peso Jackpot in Mexico's National Lottery Fernando Alvarez - Vallarta Opina

With an investment of only 30 pesos each, twenty Vallarta citizens split the National Lottery "Gordo" jackpot of 7 million pesos, returning each of these lucky winners 348,500 pesos each.

The concessionaire of the National Lottery which made the sale of the winning ticket is Alejandra McCarthy, who runs the module located at Plaza Caracol, exactly opposite Alvarez Opticals. The employees who conducted the sale are Yesenia Mercado and Gabriela Rocha.

60,000 tickets were issued in two series of this 2380 National Lottery with the 20 lucky winners announced on February 7.

The winning ticket in Puerto Vallarta had a series of the number 17394, which according to sources of the National Lottery was the winner of the big jackpot last Friday evening.

It is not the first time that a "Gordo" lottery prize falls in this city, where there are a high number of customers, and now also of lucky winners.

For security of the individual winners, these types of awards remain anonymous. However, the Public Assistance Agency does report the name of the city. The rest is a confidential process that is performed when the winnings are large sums.
