Senator Tom Hayden at Democrats Abroad - Monday
The Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad is honored to have Senator Tom Hayden in Puerto Vallarta to attend the Democrats Abroad Mexico Annual Meeting.
In addition, Hayden will be speaking on Monday, February 17, at the Hacienda San Angel Chapel beginning at 4:00 pm regarding United States Foreign Policy as it relates to Latin America. His talk is titled, “OUR AMERICA: A New US Foreign and Domestic Policy Based On All the Americas.”
Senator Tom Hayden has played an active role in American politics and history for over three decades, beginning with the student, civil rights and antiwar movements of the 1960’s.
The House I Live In at PCC - Tuesday
Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad, as part of their 4th Annual Tuesday Night Film Series, will be screening 'The House I Live In' on February 18 at 7:00 pm. Join us at the Paradise Community Center in Old Town Vallarta.
Gates open at 6:00 pm at the Paradise Community Center and the film will begin at 7:00.
We invite moviegoers to come early to enjoy ordering from the food venders at the center. Food is available at 6:00 pm.
Paws For The Cause Fundraiser - Wednesday
Join Friends of the Puerto Vallarta Animals on February 19 at Coco's Kitchen and Wine Bar for our "Paws For The Cause" Fundraiser.
The fun starts at 6:00 pm with a delicious 3 course dinner from Coco's Kitchen, well known for serving some of the best dishes in Puerto Vallarta.
In addition to the fantastic food, we'll have silent auctions and, of course, great company.
All proceeds from the Fundraiser will go towards helping the stray and abandoned animals of Puerto Vallarta, including the Centro de Acopio Animal Pound.
Botanical Gardens and Vallarta Zoo Tours - Thursday
Join us for a day of fun and beauty visiting both the local Zoo and the Botanical Gardens.
All proceeds from this tour support the International Friendship Club's Cleft Palate Surgery Program and other charitable programs.
Tours depart at 10:00 am and return at 3:00 pm.
Children with Cancer Art Benefit - Friday
You are cordially invited to this free event on Friday, February 21, 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the Old Town Bistro, Basilio Badillo 180.
Pat Haley is the featured artist who is donating 10% of his sales for the treatment of these precious children.
We hope you will enjoy viewing and be touched by Pat Haley`s artworks and purchase some to help the children with cancer.
Mass Appeal at The Boutique - Saturday & Sunday
Edoardo and Michael of Nu Name Productions are excited and proud to announce this seasons "must see" theater event, Mass Appeal, by Bill C. Davis.
Mass Appeal will open at The Boutique in Puerto Vallarta on Friday, February 21, 2014, with additional show dates on February 22, 23, 27 & 28. You can also catch the show on March 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9. All shows begin at 8:00 pm except the Sunday productions which will be at 5:00 pm.
Alberto Mejia in Concert at Palm Caberet - Sunday
Popular Vallarta crooner and actor, Alberto Mejia, returns to The Palm Cabaret and Bar this season, in association with UNDA Productions, with a run of his own show.
Upcoming Sunday concerts will take the Palm Stage on February 23, March 16 & 30 and April 6. All shows begin at 7:30 pm.
Alberto is known for his smooth vocals and suave stage presence and the ladies, gents, locals, and tourists love him equally.
