Xocolatl by Roberto’s will be inaugurating Una Noche Latina (Latin Night) on Sunday March 9th. There will be live music at 7:00 pm with Cuban-inspired Havy Rodriguez and dancing by Lilly Alcantara.

Featuring a unique blend of merengue, salsa, cha-cha, cumbia, flamenco, cubano, samba, bossa-nova, funk, reggae, jazz and bolero, Havy will enchant you with his amazing voice and guitar work. The product of over 17 years of professional travels in Cuba, Europe, the US and Mexico performing solo and in various groups, Havy’s reportoire will surely excite and entertain you. Bring your dancing shoes…

Havy’s second set will feature local Latin and African dancer Lilly Alcantara who has performed in La Cruz at Party in the Park and the recent Taste of La Cruz with Luna Rumba.

Lilly, an anthropologist and dancer who studied and researched in Guinea-Conakry, Africa and her husband, ex-professional boxer Christian Valverde, opened Quilombo Dance Studio in Bucerias in 2012 to promote sports and culture in Nayarit and the region. She conducts workshops, courses, artistic & sporting activities and classes in all forms of contemporary and traditional Latin, African and Modern Dance and Cross-Training and continues to perform and make appearances throughout Mexico to promote these passions. No stranger to exotic moves on the dance floor, Lilly will have you cheering for more. Be sure to bring a camera; there’s sure to be some great photo “opps”.

There will be three different meals offered for a special price of 150 pesos (which also includes a Margarita or Beer);

• Mexican Combo: Chicken Enchilada w/Mole or Salsa Verde, Chile Relleno con Queso, Quesadilla, Rice and Refritos
• Catch of the Day prepared Scampi style with Vegetables and Rice
• Arrachera Steak, Grilled Onions, Guacamole, Rice and Refritos

For a great price on Roberto’s always-excellent food with superb FREE entertainment, plan on stopping by Roberto’s. The best view in the Bahia is just a bonus!
