Georgia and Gholi Darehshori, owners of Casa Karma in lower Conchas Chinas, have long been supporters of many charities in both the US and Puerto Vallarta.
As this season winds down, they have decided to open Casa Karma to sponsor a season finale for Corazon de Niña, a home for young girls who have been displaced due to high risk situations.
The goal of Corazon de Niña is to help the girls grow with security, love, values and education in order to become healthy, strong and independent women and thus change the cycle that would otherwise likely repeat itself with their children.
While some may think that raising 100,000 pesos in one night is an ambitious goal, Georgia Darehshori says, “It absolutely can be done. We will raise 100,000 pesos in one evening, sufficient funds to help carry Corazon de Niña through the summer.”
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, April 8, at 7:00 pm for an evening at the beautiful Casa Karma featuring artwork by Marta Gilbert, live music by Edoardo Leon and canapes by Marvi Graf, Arte Culanario.
