We extend the most cordial invitation to all to take part in the Third Mexican Congress of Mangrove Ecosystems (Tercer Congreso de Ecosistemas de Manglar), which will take place from 24 to 27 September, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Puerto Vallarta.

The objective of the Congress is to become acquainted with and analyze different aspects of ecosystems of mangroves as well as monitoring, restoration, rehabilitation, methods of study, sustainable use as well as the associated fauna.
It is worth mentioning that within the framework of the Congress two courses will be taught: the specialized course on mangroves with Dr. Francisco Flores Verdugo; and the workshop course of conservation and management of crocodiles, taught by Dr. Helios Hernandez Hurtado. Both courses have limited seating and preference will be given to the first 40 people registered.
