Christ Church by the Sea in Puerto Vallarta Invites You for Sunday Services in English
Many exciting things have happened in the past few months at Christ Church and we praise God for so many people that are helping.
For summer services we moved up to the Chapel on the second floor which we finished last year. This year we added two new bathrooms. At the end of May the humidity and heat arrive and with an air conditioned Chapel, this really adds to the comfort of the services.
My deep appreciation to Father Michael Schirmacher for taking over the summer services. With Fr. Michael, together with Rev. Sandra Hammett and the help of all the lay ministers, Christ Church is in good hands.
We started construction on the apartment project on the third floor at the end of May. This will be used for visiting priests in the summer. I am happy to report that the two bedroom apartment is almost finished and is beautiful! Shirley and I will be in PV for a week at the end of this month and will move in all the furniture that has been donated, presently being stored on the second floor.
I want to thank everyone who has so generously donated to this project and brought it to the finish. I want to especially thank Alfredo Franco for almost two years of work in designing and engineering the project, without him this would never have happened. Also, Allan Affleck who as the Chairman of the project, has devoted countless hours.
Now I need your help with our every day budget. It has been your dollars that have kept Christ Church open. This is our second year of being open all year, and summer attendance is growing.
If you have not already made a pledge please consider a gift today. Any amount will help to pay the monthly mortgage, electric, water and gas. Keeping the church open allows us to do all the outreach we do for the schools and community, as well as helping us spread the word of Jesus Christ in Vallarta.

It is hard to imagine that we have come this far in such a few short years. I just wish you could hear the countless thanks we receive from all those we help here each year. Without your donations, none of this would have been possible.
We are tireless in our efforts to feed the hungry and clothe the poor, to provide the basic necessities for handicapped schools and other schools in the impoverished area of Puerto Vallarta.
Christ Church by the Sea has services in English every Sunday at 10:00 am year round and in our air conditioned chape during the summerl. We are located across from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport next door to Thrifty and Sixt car rental agencies. Look for our big palapa two blocks south of the pedestrian bridge at the airport.
We're the only English-speaking Anglican Church on Mexico's west coast and one the few Christian congregations in the Puerto Vallarta area. We hope you'll worship with us.
Thank you and blessings, Father Jack Wehrs, Rector
