Paradise Community Center and the Saturday Market Closed Permanently Sid Goodman - Sid's World Famous Chili

Sadly, the Paradise Community Center (PCC) across from Coco’s Kitchen has ceased operation due to the deteriorating condition of the facility and the unwillingness of the property owner to rehabilitate it.

Because the Saturday Market depended on the operating license of the PCC to operate on Saturday mornings, the Saturday Market has closed permanently.

This is a sad and regretful state of affairs as it also affects all of the many talented performers that used the PCC stage throughout the season, and the bars and restaurants in the neighborhood who benefitted from the influx of patrons.

I wish to thank all of the supporters of the Saturday Market, thousands of whom visited us on every busy Saturday. You helped make us the favorite Saturday Market in Puerto Vallarta and we will miss you as much as you will miss us.

If you’re looking for any specific vendor please email me and I will put you in touch. As for Sid’s World Famous Chili, never fear. It will continue to be available for home delivery on-line in the coming weeks along with a new variety of other delicious home cooked frozen entrees. Watch for an exciting announcement in November. I am certain that many of our vendors will be found at other locations. Some of them are looking to set up shop in other spots around the city. Be on the lookout for their announcements and please continue to support them.
