Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.
Movie Classics Film Series at IFC - Monday
The International Friendship Club of Puerto Vallarta continues its Monday Night Movies this season with an exciting “Hollywood Classics” Movie Series. All of these movies, stretching back to 1940, won “Best Picture” Oscars the year they were released.
The movies are only 40 pesos (with proceeds going to charity) and that includes free popcorn!
The cash bar will open at 6:30 with the movie beginning at 7:00 pm at the IFC Clubhouse.
Bucerias Patron Saint Festival - Monday through Saturday
The best traditions strengthen the culture of their people. The Bucerías Patron Saint Festival is a shining example, maintaining the enthusiasm of the participants thanks to its rich religious, social, commercial and touristic value.
The festivities begin on January 16th and end on the 24th, the Day of Our Lady of Peace, mother and protector of fishermen, with the marine pilgrimage of the Peace Torch.
Amy and Freddy at The Palm - Tuesday & Thursday through Sunday
After 18+ years of working together, Amy & Freddy have their entertaining musical-comedy cabaret act down pat, which makes seeing one of their performances a special treat thanks to their one-of-a-kind wit and impressive musical prowess.
Amy and Freddy will be appearing at the Palm Cabaret and Bar in Old Town Vallarta.
MexPup FUNdraiser - Wednesday
What could be better than throwing a fiesta to raise awareness and much-needed financial assistance?
It's a new beginning for so many dogs, and MexPup is proud of the caring service they provide. However, they need support to keep their efforts alive.
MexPup invites you to the 4th Annual FUNdraiser on Wednesday, January 21 from 6:30 until 10:00 pm.
The venue will be the Spanish Experience Center and we'll be wolfing down all you can eat Tacos al Pastor, enjoying great entertainment, games, a silent auction and raffles.
Rural Organic Farm Walk - Thursday
If you enjoy local history and getting off the beaten tourist track, you'll love the Rural Organic Farm Walk.
Sandra Cesca of Escape Route Vallarta will return with this every Thursday adventure at 10:00 am.
We take the local bus to rural pre-Hispanic El Tuito one hour south of Vallarta.
Southside Shuffle - Friday
Take a stroll down Basilio Badillo every other Friday for art, jewelry, fashion, collectibles, restaurants, food, drinks, live music and fun.
Over eighteen Shops, Galleries & Restaurants open their doors for the return of the Friday evening Southside Shuffle in Old Town Vallarta.
This is one of Vallarta's more festive events and the party runs from 6:00 to 10:00 pm and features live music, cocktails and all kinds of great stuff.
Southside Shuffle dates are January 23, February 6 & 20, March 6 & 20.
Taste of La Cruz - Saturday
The 4th Annual TASTE OF LA CRUZ will feature a unique blend of businesses, services and restaurants.
Join us at Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm.
Your 150 pesos entrance fee includes 1 free drink.
BeefDip and Bear Week - Begins on Sunday
This year's event of Beef Dip Bear Week Mexico will take place in Sunny Puerto Vallarta Mexico from January 25th - February 1st 2015.
Our Host Hotels this year will be Torre De Oro (formerly The Abbey Hotel) and Blue Chairs Beach Resort.
We have planned exciting events for the week and have worked close with our travel partners to arrange for affordable air and hotel fares.
Farmers Markets in Vallarta-Nayarit - Every day of the week
You'll see on our Events Calendar that there is at least one Farmers Market every day of the week in different locations around the Bay.
