Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.

Charity Week by Caritas PV - Monday through Sunday 

Caritas Puerto Vallarta invites the public to participate in Charity Week 2015 from March 1 - 8.

Activities are centered around Our Lady of Guadalupe by the PV Town Square which will include concerts and food drives where you are invited to bring food, gently used clothing or donations for concerts.

Caritas will serve food during the week to our homeless, seniors and children who deserve a warm meal and have no place else to go.

IFC Cleft Palate Info Program - Tuesday 

On Tuesday, March 3 at 7:00 pm the International Friendship Club of Puerto Vallarta will host a public information session on its Cleft Palate Program at the IFC clubhouse.

Medical professionals who volunteer their time to treat local children at no cost will summarize the past few years of medical care, with an interesting PowerPoint presentation, time for questions and answers, with desserts and refreshments after the session.

The public is invited and there is no cost, so please join us for an inspiring evening!

Banderas Bay Regatta XXIII - Tuesday through Saturday

It is with great pride that I announce that the 23rd Annual Banderas Bay Regatta is scheduled to take place March 3 - 7, 2015.

Registrations are now open for this fun filled week of music, good food, great camaraderie, and great racing.

This regatta is the one of the biggest cruisers regatta’s in the world and is the largest and oldest on Mexico’s west coast.

Charity Bingo at Nacho Daddy - Wednesday 

Bingo is Back!!  March 4 & 18.

Come back to the even NEWER Nacho Daddy for CHARITY BINGO benefiting Pasitos de Luz & Colina FREE Spay & Neuter Clinic.

Come visit the new enclosed upstairs with air conditioning!

Card sales begin at 5:45, Bingo begins at 6:00.

Vallarta Bird Festival - Thursday through Sunday 

Featuring 4 days of guided tours, presentations, and lectures for a wonderful opportunity to view, learn and enjoy the wonderful birds in Puerto vallarta and Cabo Corrientes area whether you are an avid birder or just beginning. There is something for everyone, young and old from March 5-8, 2015.

These tours encompass a wide variety of areas and birds, a privately owned wildlife sanctuary, scenic rural roads high in the mountains with tropical dry forest and ranchlands, little-known mangrove ecosystem in Nuevo Vallarta, the protected wildlife reserve in Puerto Vallarta, Island Sanctuary and the hunt to see the protected magnificent Military Macaw.

These tours are sure to please every level of birder.

Celtic Music Festival - Friday and Saturday
 
It has been confirmed by Sergio Zepeda, Director of the Cultural Institute, that the Second International Festival of Celtic Music will return to Puerto Vallarta on March 6 & 7, 2015.

"Celtic Vallarta" is the only Celtic music festival in Mexico and Zepeda commended the commitment of the organizers and together with the authorities will provide all facilities to further strenghen this event.

Last year, hundreds of pipers and drummers paraded down the Puerto Vallarta Malecon attended by thousands of onlookers.

Riverfest Fundraiser for Pasitos de Luz - Saturday
 
El Rio BBQ, Barcelona Tapas and Pasitos de Luz are announcing the 4rd annual Riverfest to benefit the special needs children in Puerto Vallarta.

This festival event will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 12:00 – 7:00 pm at the El Rio BBQ Bar & Restaurant in Colonia Paso Ancho. Gates open at 11:30 am.

Sicilian Soiree for Our Seniors Benefit Dinner - Sunday 

We hope you'll join us on Sunday, March 8 in support of our Puerto Vallarta senior citizens and Asilo San Juan Diego.

Sapori de Sicilia Restaurant will be offering seatings at either 6:00 or 8:00 pm for a fabulous dinner menu.

Along with your dinner, you'll enjoy the live piano duet entertainment by Raoul Diaz & Antonio Lecomte. We'll have raffles and great prizes.

Farmers Markets in Vallarta-Nayarit - Every day of the week 

You'll see on our Events Calendar that there is at least one Farmers Market every day of the week in different locations around the Bay.
