Bugambilia Festival 2015 (Jeda WebDesign)
The Puerto Vallarta Garden Club and volunteers have organized the third festival to pay tribute to an icon of Puerto Vallarta: The Bougainvillea flower.
This is a cultural and artistic festival with the aim of uniting the community and retaining our local culture, while at the same time creating an awareness in the minds of the audience to preserve the natural beauty of Puerto Vallarta.
Puerto Vallarta with all the bougainvillea is looking great thanks to generous donations to pay for the Vallarta Garden Club gardener and to provide us with a truck and necessary equipment to water the plants, a vital task during the dry season. We’ve also had a loyal cadre of weeders helping every week making sure planters and trees look good. A big “thank you” to all!
We hope you'll join us on Saturday, May 2 as we continue the festivities on the Malecon. Beginning at 6:00 pm you'll be entertained by Mariachis, Polynesian dances, the Rock Band 3/4, Viva Tequila Show, the children's choir Son 14 of Lagos de Moreno with fireworks culminating the festival at 10:00 pm.
