The Santa Barbara/Puerto Vallarta Sister City Committee welcome Raul Navarro, a long time Sister City member, as the new president.

From Navarro:

"As your new president, I would like to thank the new board members for electing me as their president.

With the next year full of new and old projects ahead of us, this organization will be extremely busy.

We have a group of our members now planning activities for the upcoming visitation of the membership from Puerto Vallarta which will take place from July 21 through the 28th.

This organization has lacked being recognized by the News Media for all we do to help not only in Mexico and other locations, but in our own local community. We must endeavor to change this situation, and as your new president and with the board’s help I plan to change this situation.

We have well over 100 members and each member is special in wanting to help when ever they can."

A delegation from Vallarta will be in Santa Barbara this summer, and a group from Santa Barbara will travel to Mexico in November.
