The Estero del Salado (our local mangroves), here in Puerto Vallarta, will be celebrating a significant anniversary of their conservation efforts and work on July 31, 2015.

The program is free to the pubic between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. There will lots of fun stuff happening! Please help spread the word to your friends!

Free tours of the mangroves are offered to the public. However, reservations are required and can be made by contacting the Estero through their website at Estero del Salado. //www.esterodelsalado.org/index.php/home-estero-el-salado All contact information is provided on the Estero web site in both English and Spanish. Reservations for the free boat tours are required and space will be limited.

They are also hosting a photography contest and the information is included in the above graphic. Awards for the photography contest will be presented at 10:00 am that same morning.

The tour, education, conservation and research arms of Ocean Friendly and Deep Blue Conservancy are helping to promote and are providing financial support to the program and to the incredible work that they do. This is just another beautiful and new way to see Puerto Vallarta (at no cost) if you’ve not been there before.

The Estero del Salado entrance is located across from the Naval Hospital in Puerto Vallarta.

We look forward to seeing you there!
