Festival Sayulita 2016 is calling you to our paradise! The third annual Festival Sayulita is a unique gathering for all lovers of Mexico, Film, Spirits, Food, Music and Surf to be held January 27th-31st, 2016.

The idyllic coastal town of Sayulita provides a scenic, bohemian background perfect for this international festival. Creative and provocative films will be shown in various venues throughout the town.

Additional events include spirits and food pairings, master tastings, beach-front film venues, private screenings, surf competition, and live music.

Once known only for its fishing business and scenic beaches, Sayulita now boasts a thriving community of local, Mexican restaurants and craftsman alongside trendsetting establishments. Surfing, paddle boarding, yoga, mountain biking and other outdoor activities helps make Sayulita an irresistible destination. Festival Sayulita will highlight these many assets while spicing up the town with new and never-been-seen international films in the genres of Action Sports, Short Feature, Documentary, Animation and Stop Motion, and Alternative.

Festival Sayulita is quickly becoming a top destination for filmmakers to showcase their work. Festival Sayulita 2015 screened over 60 films from all over the world, and our 2016 lineup is sure to be something not to miss.

Each year Festival Sayulita invites distillers and brewers to come to Sayulita, share their craft, and have a great time. 2016 will only be better!

We’re inviting craft beer companies from across Mexico, wineries, distilleries to Sayulita. We pair these companies with local restaurants and chefs to create pairing dinners that are a culinary experience to remember.

Did you know that the craft beer market in Mexico is exploding right now? Did you know that Mexico makes some world class wines? Have you ever tried an amazing Mezcal? Come to Festival Sayulita and experience the fantastically crafted beverages that Mexico has to offer.

Music is a huge part of life in Sayulita, and we strive to bring in talented artists each year. 2015 featured Dirty Heads, Kongos, La Hora de la Hora, Espumas y Terciopelo, and Tennis Pro playing in front of amazing crowds.

Our main concert event is Saturday January 30th and is hosted at Quintas Trujillo, an amazing venue shared with our pueblo by an amazing family.

Surfing is an integral part of Sayulita and could be considered the lifeblood of our pueblo. The beach and the local breaks are a draw to surfers from around the world, and recently played host to the Stand Up Paddle World Championships. Festival Sayulita is working hard to bring to town another amazing and fun surf event.

The festival is a nonprofit event held annually to raise money to build a new cultural center for our community.
