Local residents of Riviera Nayarit, Harold Sokolove and his wife Sue, donated a fire truck to the Directorate of Nayarit Civil Protection and Fire.

Delivery was held at the fire station of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle on Banderas Bay with the presence of Martin Tapia Miranda, Director of Civil Protection in Nayarit, and his team in Banderas Bay.

Martin Tapia, in an interview, acknowledged them for their generous humanitarian efforts in making the donation of the truck for service and benefit of all in Bahia de Banderas.

The truck will strengthen the Civil Protection vehicle fleet which is equipped with boats, trucks, ambulances, and other equipment needed to respond to an emergency in the city, he added.

He explained that the truck is not new, but what counts is the pressure with the capacity to pump 4,500 gallons per minute, which helps to suppress and control any type of fire, with plenty of water pressure.
