Just in time for the holiday season, River of Art brings together more than 40 of Puerto Vallarta’s finest artists and artisans, along with entertainment for the entire family, giving you the opportunity to spend the day shopping at a single location, while helping an important organization achieve its charitable goals.
For our fourth year of River of Art, we have changed the venue to Oscar's Restaurant on Isla Cuale, where the river and the ocean meet.
We hope you'll join us on Sunday, December 6 from 12:00 until 6:00 pm. Admission is free, but please remember that your purchases help support Colina Free Spay and Neuter Clinic's programs.
Colina is a permanent facility in Old Town/Romantic Zone Puerto Vallarta providing spaying and neutering services for cats and dogs. Services are offered free to those who otherwise would be unable to get their pets neutered.
In addition to the fantastic silent auction and raffles, we've lined up super entertainment.
Lorena Peril and her hubby, Ray Jon, Las Vegas headliners now performing in Puerto Vallarta at the Red Room Cabaret will join us at Oscar's.
Our own Mikki Prost, now starring locally as Patsy Kline and Connie Francis, is always a treat for the eyes and ears.
Sponsored by Cirque du Soleil, we'll have performances by the children of Circo de Los Niños of San Pancho.
Always a delight, Los Polvitos de Jalisco, our local mini mariachis children's band will take the stage.
With funnyman and author Gil Givens as our Master of Ceremonies, there is a guarantee of no dull moments and rumor has it that Ray Jon will join in on the hosting.
The Paso Ancho Art Association (PAaa) says "muchas gracias" to all the volunteers that help to make this event a success. The PAaa was created to raise local artistic consciousness and funds for worthy charities using art as the medium.
