This is the time of year we see a lot of requests for helping those less fortunate, and I feel very blessed to have some incredibly giving people in my life who spend a lot of their own money and time helping others. They rise to the call whenever they hear it, and have done some amazing things for others here at home, and in other countries as well.

Coral Ann Brinck and Gordon Brinck have traveled down to Mexico a few times in the last several years and they have built a wonderful network of people who assist them in helping less fortunate people in the surrounding areas that they visit. In the past, we've taken down refurbished laptops for the older kids of the village to use for school, and I'm proud to say the young fellow that received our old laptop has now graduated and is working!

We will be heading out again on January 9, 2016, this time to bring school supplies and more the Casa Hogar orphanage just outside of Puerto Vallarta.

You can donate anonymously on the Go Fund Me site if you so choose where there is more information on our intent.

Your generosity is appreciated and I personally guarantee delivery of the goods myself. It will be documented on picture and video.

I know there are a lot of demands on your wallet this time of year but if you have ever been to poorer parts of the world, you know how desperate the situation can be. Canadian dollars convert to a lot of money in Mexico so even a small amount will go a long way to buying food, food stamps, medicine and maybe some clothing.
