Current Needs at the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter Team Angels - PVAngels | |

Compassion for the Family Inc. takes domestic violence against women very seriously.
It is imperative that women and their children be offered a safe refuge.
Compassion for the Family Inc. is committed to providing this service that is so badly needed in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding area.
In order to provide this service, Compassion for the Family has constructed the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter in a discrete location in the greater Puerto Vallarta area. Non disclosure of the location of the facility is imperative if the organization is to be able to provide a safe refuge.
"We've had several families come to the shelter in the last couple of weeks and we find ourselves in great need of underwear for women, girls 1-17 years and boys 1-12 years. We had purchased 3,000 pesos worth of underwear in Guadalajara, but it was confiscated by the PGR (Attorney General's Office) and sits in their office in Puerto Vallarta. I'm sure that we will never see the items. Please help if you can, one package of underwear or many packages, it doesn't matter. Thank you." - David Zude
The list is long for other items needed by the families being protected at the Shelter including food donations or sponsors. Feeding 28 to 40 people runs about $3,000 U.S per month. Please consider helping to cover this expense with a food or a cash donation.
For the current list of most needed items and how you can help, please email David Zude at compassionforthefamily@yahoo.com.mx or visit Compassion for the Family.
