The Municipal System for Integral Family Development (DIF) remains committed to supporting the most vulnerable families in Puerto Vallarta through care programs and providing scholarships and training for children and adolescents.

A total of 189 young people were awarded academic scholarships giving them the opportunity to continue their basic education and prepare for different trades.

The President of DIF, Jennifer Serur, expressed her satisfaction with the program of giving small grants throughout the year to students who have performed excellently in educational activities.

The scholarships are intended for the purchase of uniforms, shoes and school supplies for the back to school season.

Awarding the scholarships were Wendy Liliana Rodriguez Segura, from the Dif and the Director of Child Welfare, Juan Ramon Esparza, among others.
