Social Event to Present New Officers of ACT LGBT Team Angels - ACT LGBT

The Association of Trade and Tourism LGBT A.C. in Puerto Vallarta is pleased to announce Gene Mendoza, owner of the Fusion Gourmet Restaurant, as the new President of the Association, who replaces Alain Chalut after having held the position for three years and who recently resigned for personal reasons. ACT LGBT Association appreciates his work, effort and dedication and wishes him success in all his  future projects.

The new Board of ACT LGBT, formed by owners of gay friendly businesses, has been defined as follows:

• Chair - Gene Mendoza
• Vice President-Bill Hevener
• Treasurer - Paul Christ
• Secretary - Blaire Veronica Osborne
• Membership - Julie Guerrero
• Public Relations - Gary Green and Oscar Morán
• Representative before the Tourism Trust Committee in Puerto Vallarta - Alejandro Meza
• Representative of the City Hall of Puerto Vallarta - Raúl Durán
• Members - Armando Sánchez, Carmen Porras and Claudia Victoria

"We want to emphasize that it is not necessary to be a gay business owner to be an ACT LGBT member. Our partnership is ideal for networking events, meeting other business owners and exchanging ideas and solutions," said Gene Mendoza, who also invites everybody to attend the social event which will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Hotel Mercurio. "Our intention is to publicize the benefits of our membership, engage in coexistence and socialize with everyone."

The theme will be "September, Month of the Fatherland", and have an open bar and complimentary snacks. The entertainment will be provided by El Diamante Negro.
