Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.

Electile Dysfunction with Kinsey Sicks - Monday

We are so thrilled to welcome back the world-acclaimed “beautyshop” quartet, The Kinsey Sicks! and their very timely original show, “Electile Dysfunction.”

The Kinsey Sicks will hit the Main Stage of Act II Entertainment at 7:00 pm for the last performance before the US elections on Monday, November  7.

In this hilarious show, the Kinsey Sicks (Rachel, Trampolina, Trixie and Winnie) campaign to become the first Dragapella® Beautyshop Quartet to be elected President of the United States on the Republican ticket.

Ceviche & Aguachile Market at the Pier - Tuesday

Every Tuesday there is a Ceviche and Aguachile Market taking place on Francisca Rodriguez, the walk-street leading to the Los Muertos Pier in Old Town Puerto Vallarta.

Come and enjoy a variety of ceviche and aguachiles prepared by neighbors, merchants and restaurateurs of the region in this culinary and cultural weekly event.

Enjoy an amazing variety of culinary delights such as coconut shrimp ceviche and return each Tuesday throughout the season between 12:00 and 4:00 pm to sample all the delicious selections while being entertained by live music.

US Election Night Party - Tuesday

Everyone is invited to join Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas Chapter for the Election Night Party on November 8, 2016.

The fun starts at 6:30 pm in Roberto's Restaurant located at 283 Basilio Badillo in Old Town Vallarta.

If the election results are not definitive by 8:30 pm, the party will move next door to Nacho Daddy to continue to watch the results.

Both venues will have live streaming monitors and air conditioning.

Downtown Vallarta Art Walk - Wednesday

Puerto Vallarta has established itself as a vibrant center of art creation, exhibition and promotion. An important contribution to the city´s art scene is Puerto Vallarta´s Art Walk which this year will be held every Wednesday, 6:00 - 10:00 pm through May 31, 2017. The participating galleries in Centro Historico offer works by important national and international artists. Remarkable paintings, exceptional sculptures, fine ceramics, blown glass and other types of noteworthly art are offered.

Collectors, patrons, residents and interested visitors can discover art of outstanding quality in the 8 participating galleries where exhibiting artists present their work.

Two Scented Rose: Dinner Theatre - Thursday, Friday and Saturday

The first play of the season at the Boutique Dinner Theatre is written by renown author and playwright Emilio Carballido, with 30 movies and over one hundred plays, many for children, to his credit during his long lifetime 1925 to 2008. It is directed and translated by TJ Hartung and is a brilliant two-woman comedy-drama, starring Catalina Meders and Catherine Beeghly.

The Dinner begins at 5:00 pm and the show begins at 6:00 November 10, 11 and 12.

Veterans & Remembrance Day - Friday

Veterans Day is an opportunity to honor U.S. military veterans. Remembrance Day is observed in Commonwealth countries to commemorate the end of World War I, which ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. Poppy's will be available.

On November 11th, We will meet at Steve's Sports Bar on Basilio Badillo (Post 14 Headquarters) at 10:00 am for free coffee and pastries. (Breakfast will be available for purchase.) At 10:40 am, we will walk down to Lazaro Cardenas Park, for the 11:00 am Service.

International Gourmet Festival - Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The best way to start this festival is undoubtedly the Grand Gourmet Village, a cheerful fiesta on November 11 where you can hang out with the stars of culinary art and delight yourself with the creations they will prepare on different “gourmet kiosks,” a little taste of what awaits you the next days.

On Sunday November 20th, the Festival finale will deliver a great seafood feast to relive the best moments during the ten days, nothing better than a medley of seafood created by the best chefs.

Autumn Fest Fundraiser Coco Tropical - Saturday

This special Swiss-German Buffet is offered one night only - November 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. A generous selection of delicious specialties, including salads, main dishes and desserts are on the menu. Plus live entertainment. 500 peso donation.

This is a Navy League fundraiser to help finance their numerous community relations projects.

PuRR Project Garage Sale - Saturday and Sunday  

PuRR Project is hosting its 3rd Annual Garage Sale with all proceeds benefiting the 150+ cats at the PuRR shelter on Saturday and Sunday, November 12 and 13.

Your are welcome to find your special treasure on Saturday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Triatlon Extreme Guayabitos - Sunday

The 2016 Guayabitos Extreme Triathlon is set to take off on October 13 in Rincon de Guayabitos, Riviera Nayarit.

The invitation is open for all triathletes, clubs, leagues, public and private associations, schools and the general public both domestic and national.
