Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.
Night of Latin Stars Fundraiser - Monday
Timothy Real Estate Group will be hosting the 2016 ‘House Hunters International’ charity fundraiser event on November 21st (Monday), from 7-10pm, at Casa Karma on Conchas Chinas beach.
This year’s ’Night Of Latin Stars’ theme is sure to be fun and exciting, with the presence of Latin celebrity impersonators Pancho Villa, Carmen Miranda, Pedro Infante, El Santo (Lucha Libre), Frida Kahlo and the effervescent Walter Mercado taking photos with guests in front of the Media Wall as they make their arrival.
Free Malecon Sculpture Walking Tour - Tuesday
Gary Thompson, owner of Galeria Pacifico, conducts a FREE Malecon Sculpture Walking Tour in downtown Puerto Vallarta every Tuesday morning from mid-November through mid-April.
The tour begins promptly at 9:30 am at the north end of the Malecon in front of the Millennium sculpture which is next to the Hotel Rosita.
The 2-hour tour usually commences with artist Mathis Lidice describing and discussing his inspiration for the massive landmark sculpture Millennium. After about 15 minutes the art walk continues on to the next sculpture with interesting discussion taking place in front of each bronze statue.
Ceviche & Aguachile Market at the Pier - Tuesday
Every Tuesday there is a Ceviche and Aguachile Market taking place on Francisca Rodriguez, the walk-street leading to the Los Muertos Pier in Old Town Puerto Vallarta.
Come and enjoy a variety of ceviche and aguachiles prepared by neighbors, merchants and restaurateurs of the region in this culinary and cultural weekly event.
Enjoy an amazing variety of culinary delights such as coconut shrimp ceviche and return each Tuesday throughout the season between 12:00 and 4:00 pm to sample all the delicious selections while being entertained by live music.
Kitty Bingo at Margarita Grill - Wednesday
Come play Bingo with us on Wednesday, November 23!
We’re back at Margarita Grill with great prizes like 200-peso gift certificates for Kaiser Maximilian, Starbucks and Derby City Burgers, bottles of tequila and wine, jewelry, artwork and mucho mas — plus our famous multiple-pull 50/50 raffle, and Margarita Grill’s food and drink specials just for us bingo players!

Downtown Vallarta Art Walk - Wednesday
Puerto Vallarta has established itself as a vibrant center of art creation, exhibition and promotion. An important contribution to the city´s art scene is Puerto Vallarta´s ArtWalk which this year will be held every Wednesday, 6:00 - 10:00 pm through May 25, 2016.
The participating galleries in Centro Historico offer works by important national and international artists. Remarkable paintings, exceptional sculptures, fine ceramics, blown glass and other types of noteworthly art are offered.
Wixarika Village Nayarit Expo - Thursday through Sunday
The Magical Town of Sayulita’s main plaza will be the site of the 1st Commercial and Cultural Wixarika Village Nayarit Expo from November 24-27, 2016, an event organized by the National Commission for the Development of Indigenous People (CDI by its acronym in Spanish).
“I’m very happy, grateful and motivated by how the doors have been opened for us to present the culture and the handicrafts of our indigenous villages,” said Sergio González García, delegate for the CDI in Nayarit. “We’re showcasing a lot of our culture with the artisans through productive projects such as this that help supplement their family income.”
There will be 48 groups of Nayarit artisans for a total of 180 persons; the participants are mainly Huicholes and Coras, but also some Mexicaneros. Besides the artisans there will be musicians and traditional doctors present, as well.
Motomanía San Blas - Thursday through Sunday
Over one thousand motorcycles will converge on the Historic Port of San Blas to celebrate this very special event where, among other things, there will be lots of dancing, exhibits, races and fun! November 24-27.
Dog Adoption Walks on the Malecon - Friday
Join the volunteers from Vallarta Adventures as they parade the pups and adult dogs that are available for adoption up and down the Malecon.
The fun and healthy walk begins every Friday at 7:00 pm and the two hour walk begins at Hotel Rosita at the north end of Vallarta's oceanfront Boardwalk.
These rescue dogs will be all ages, all sizes and various breeds and mixed breeds. They will all be sterilized and be wearing neon green "Adopt Me" jackets.
Beachfront Fashion Show Fundraiser - Saturday
La Sirena Reina Quality Swimwear & Beach Attire, Carol's Boutique and Maracuya are teaming up to present this incredible beachfront fashion show at El Dorado Restaurant.
We hope you'll join us on Saturday, November 26 at 1:00 for a delicious light lunch, dessert, coffee or tea. We'll have a cash bar.
Update your beach wardrobe while supporting the children at the Corazon de Nina Shelter.
White Party at Mantamar - Saturday and Sunday
The world’s premiere gay dance festival WHITE PARTY heats up PV for the second year in a row with WHITE PARTY PUERTO VALLARTA, over Thanksgiving weekend November 26th thru November 27th, 2016.
Jeffrey Sanker teams up with Javier Jimenez (local entrepreneur), owner of some of the hottest nightspots in Puerto Vallarta, to bring this legendary party to Mantamar Beach Club with the “WET and CRAZY” sunset pool party where WHITE PARTY PUERTO VALLARTA will showcase superstar DJ: DAWNA MONTELL (LA) to keep the sand pulsing into the night.
AND, to keep in true WHITE PARTY PALM SPRINGS tradition, huge surprises will be unveiled along the way, including over the top performances, amazing sound and light displays, and the hottest and sexiest WET DREAMS’ signature go-go boys.
Join the party on November 26 and 27 from 5:00 until midnight.
13th Anniversary of the Vallarta Azteca Group - Sunday
Teatro Vallarta invites you to celebrate the 13 years of the folkloric group Vallarta Azteca, a ballet group formed in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, which seeks to be the meeting point for the folkloric interpretive dance and the Mexican tradition of the region, keeping alive the Aztec roots in Mexican youth through healthy physical activity and a friendly community.
This 27 of November this group celebrates its 13 years and the party starts at 12:00 Noon with a show that incorporates all the age categories of the group.
