Volunteers and Donations Needed for Puerto Vallarta's Christmas at the Dump Team Angels/Darren Shirley - Christmas at the Dump | |
December 4, 2016 |
For the tenth year, our family will be brightening up Christmas for the poorest families of Puerto Vallarta.
What once started with a few has grown to over 4000 people waiting for what we have to give on Christmas Day.
We purchase over 700 cooked chickens, 2500 kilos of rice and beans, 750 bags of candy, 1000 toiletry bags, 1000 toys or more, clothes for men, women, girls and boys. The list goes on!
We are trying to raise 25,000 dlls to fund it. Any extra will go to feed the kids at the Salvation Army.
If you would like to get involved and share this wonderful experience of giving, we will meet in the Sam's Club parking lot at 10:00 am on Christmas Day, December 25, and drive to the park beside the dump where over 4000 people will be anxiously awaiting our arrival.
For more information and donations, please visit Go Get Funding or visit Christmas at the Dump on Facebook.
We invite you to add your charity or supporting organizations' news stories and coming events to PVAngels so we can share them with the world. Do it now!
From activities like hiking, swimming, bike riding and yoga, to restaurants offering healthy menus, Vallarta-Nayarit is the ideal place to continue - or start - your healthy lifestyle routine.
