The 6th annual Riverfest is being held on Saturday, March 4th at El Rio BBQ Bar from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm.
Riverfest is a showcase for 6 to 7 local bands/musicians around the bay. In addition to the music, people can browse artisan exhibits and feast on great BBQ along with the bay's best paella provided by Barcelona Tapas. We feature a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and you can even get your hair cut at the event by Alex Daoud from Alexander A Salon, who donates all his proceeds for the day to Pasitos!.
We are expecting to offer great talent including Kim Kuzma, Piel Canela, Stolie, Joker Trio Band, OliBlues, Texas Embassy Blues Band and La Trez Cuartoz.
Admission is only 100 pesos per person at the gate which will go directly to supporting the children, but you can further support the cause and purchase advance patron tickets for 800 pesos per person, which offers increased support for the kids, welcome margarita or beer, free snacks and appetizers, gate entry, limited early bird parking, one free serving for the fabulous buffet provided by both El Rio and Barcelona Tapas from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, priority reserved seating for viewing the entertainment, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day and great music!
Returning this Year - Buy "Reserved Sponsor/Host Tables." As a Sponsor or Host get your name or business printed on a notice, reserving the table. You will receive a VIP patron reserved table for a group of 8 at a special reduced rate of 6000 pesos. As a sponsor you will be providing much needed support for Pasitos de Luz and will receive 8 VIP patron tickets with all patron benefits for a fabulous day to distribute as you wish!
Patron tickets or tables of 8 can be purchased by coming out to the Pasitos de Luz table at the Old Town Farmers Market any Saturday in February or by contacting Barb Bremner at condo211@yahoo.ca. Please note we have limited numbers of patron tickets available and they are going quickly. Please get your advance patron tickets now OR plan to attend by coming to El Rio BBQ Bar and donating at the gate on March 4th to help us make this our best Riverfest ever!
New this year 3 days!!! - We will be extending Riverfest with a pre-show and post show! Friday March 3rd will see El Rio BBQ Bar already set up and ready to rock! Starting at 2:00 pm Hard Money will play followed by Bob & Gilberto at 4:00 pm, live music for only 50 peso donation.
Sunday March 5th - Mexican buffet, hamburgers + more. Music 2:00 pm by Mariachi Real de América and 4:00 pm by Los Bambinos.
All proceeds go to Pasitos de Luz - an amazing organization with very minimal resources that provides FREE care and therapy to children with acute physical and psychological illnesses. Your support enables us to offer love, support and rehabilitation to the special children of Puerto Vallarta and its surrounding areas.
