Free Dental Clinic for the Poor in Puerto Vallarta Needs Donations Darryl Ross Derksen - PV Medical & Dental Clinic

Friends of Vallarta: A group of us (mostly Canadians) from the Marina Vallarta area have spent the last year building a clinic that will provide free basic dental services (fillings, extractions, cleanings and check-ups) to the citizens of poverty stricken Colonia Progresso (5 miles east of Galerias Mall).

Most of these people would never get a chance to see a dentist in their life time, because it is completely unaffordable to them. This clinic will be manned by local Vallarta volunteer dentists and hygienists and will be open within the next month or so, starting with two or three half-days per week.

It has been a $30,000 project and we need your help to spread the word to other Expats who may care to help us with donations. We still need to raise $10,000 to cover the final costs and stock the shelves with dental consumables (masks, gloves, bibs, filling and freezing compounds etc etc).

All donations are tax deduction and will receive charitable receipts for your respective countries. Every $20 or $50 helps!
