As part of the activities that the Municipal DIF system performs to commemorate Grandparents Day in Mexico on August 28, they sponsored the "Sports and Cultural Competition For The Seniors 2012."
This exciting event involved the young at heart of the 30 senior citizen clubs in the Puerto Vallarta area.

The President of the DIF, Jennifer Serur, reiterated that the young at heart are the darlings of the DIF system, "We meet to celebrate our elders, who, with their energy and vitality, motivate us to work every day from the DIF system to assure conditions for a full life. With activities throughout the week, we see why our young at heart are the darlings of the DIF."
