Mundo Tour Grand Finale at Greg Norman Designed Vidanta Golf Nuevo Vallarta OVC Riviera Nayarit

The grand finale of the Mundo Golf Tour 2016/17 will be held in the Riviera Nayarit on Saturday, May 27. The starting shot will be fired at 9 a.m. sharp across the newest golf course in Mexico: Vidanta Golf Nuevo Vallarta, designed by none other than Greg Norman.

Once again, Grupo Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta will be one of the stops for this prestigious international tournament that plays 18 holes under the A-Go-Go format, with teams made up of four players with handicaps ranging from 0 to 28 (HCP). There will be a single category where both ladies and gentlemen can participate equally.

As they do every year, Mundo Golf and a group of sponsors will offer grand prizes to the top three winners, those who make a Hole in One and those who make the Oh Yes’s.

Prizes for the Holes in One are: e a Raymond Weil watch valued at $80 thousand pesos for Hole 3; Hole 5 wins $400 thousand pesos in cash; and the Hole 7 winner rides home in a brand new golf cart.

There are five prizes in four holes for the best Oh Yes’s, among them $10 thousand pesos cash for Hole 3, while Holes 5, 7 and 17 take home a Nivada Watch. Other prizes include certificates for Vidanta Golf, golf bags, executive chairs and sunglasses. And to top it off, there will be raffles held during the competition.

As of press time there were already 32 teams registered out of the 36 available spots for the competition. The registration fee to cover costs is $1,900 pesos per player, which guarantees participation in the tournament and includes breakfast, golf cart rental during the game, access to the awards dinner and special rates for practice days on the two Vidanta golf courses.

Una vez más Grupo Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta será una de las sedes de este prestigiado torneo internacional que se jugará a 18 hoyos bajo el sistema A-Go-Go, con equipos formados por cuatro jugadores, ya sean de 0 a 28 de hándicap (HCP). Será una sola categoría en la que pueden participar damas y caballeros por igual.

Como cada año la empresa Mundo Golf y los patrocinadores ofrece grandes premios para los ganadores de los primeros tres lugares, para quienes hagan Hoyo en Uno y también para quienes logren los Oye’s.

Premios para Hoyo en Uno: En el Hoyo 3 un Reloj Raymond Weil con valor de 80 mil pesos, en el Hoyo 5 son 400 mil pesos en efectivo y en el Hoyo 7 un carrito de golf.

Hay cinco premios en cuatro hoyos para los mejores Oye’s, destacando 10 mil pesos en efectivo en el Hoyo 3, mientras que en los Hoyos 5, 7 y 17 hay un Reloj Nivada. Entre los demás premios hay certificados de Vidanta Golf, bolsas de golf, sillones ejecutivos y lentes de sol. Por si fuera poco habrá rifas durante la competencia.

Al momento de esta emisión ya se han registrado 32 equipos de los 36 que podrán participar en esta competencia. La cuota de recuperación es de $1,900 pesos por jugador, misma que además de garantizar la participación en el torneo, incluye desayuno, renta del carrito de golf durante el juego, acceso para la comida de premiación y tarifas especiales para los días de prácticas en los dos campos de golf de Vidanta.
