Advanced Medical Care as State-of-the-Art Punta Mita Hospital Opens
In one of the most exciting announcements in Punta Mita history, we are happy to officially announce a 13,000-square foot, full-service Punta Mita Hospital coming soon to our community, a $4 million project which will rival the most advanced medical centers in the USA, with cutting edge medical care and facilities.
Recognizing the need for accessible healthcare services in Punta Mita, Los Angeles-based industry veterans Dr. Sam Najmabadi and Dr. Shadiar Ohadi teamed up with Dr. David Ahdoot to bring state-of-the-art technology and equipment to Mexico that will rival the most advanced medical establishments in the U.S.
“Punta Mita Hospital is the first ever of its kind for Punta Mita and is a clear indicator of increasing growing demand for this exclusive resort destination,” said Andrés Rossetto, Managing Director of Punta Mita Development. “It was crucial for DINE to only work with the best and brightest doctors that understood the importance of providing a hospital for all – visitors, second-home residents and locals alike. We’re confident that Punta Mita Hospital will make history.”
With the mission to provide knowledgeable and compassionate healthcare face-to-face to the people who live and visit Punta Mita and the surrounding areas, the Punta Mita Hospital will provide high quality healthcare to meet the needs within the gates of our community and beyond. With the focus to provide a hospital for all, the team will work with HOA security, lifeguards, as well as golf and tennis employees on property and emergency first responders to create a faster response time that will overall improve medical services in the region.
Additionally, patients will be able to work with Dr. Najmabadi, widely regarded as a leader in his field in fertility and reproductive health.
“What started as an idea to bring healthcare options to the beautiful peninsula of Punta Mita evolved into a true passion project of mine – and I’m so proud to open the doors of Punta Mita Hospital to a place that both myself and my family hold very close to our hearts,” said Dr. Najmabadi. “Punta Mita Hospital will offer the very best in medical care that is accessible and convenient – this destination deserves the very best and we’re proud to be a part of this amazing project.”
The Emergency Room is already open, accepting patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The recently opened ER has three emergency and monitoring beds, one pediatric cubicle with two observation and monitoring beds, a shock room for critical patients, X-ray, full lab and physicians working 24/7, as well as ambulance service.
Upon completion, the Punta Mita Hospital will offer an array of services, including ambulance services that meet accreditations for the U.S. and Mexico as well as a variety of comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and same-day services.
