Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.

Gourmet Festival Vallarta-Nayarit - Monday through Sunday

We celebrate 23 years of positioning our destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit and Tepic at the top of the international cuisine. Our gourmet fans will delight in an exclusive event prepared like never before.

This year, the International Gourmet Festival is taking place from November 10 until November 19, 2017.

Free Spanish for Seniors at CUCosta - Monday and Thursday

In this Spanish for Foreigners course you will be able to learn and practice Spanish. Classes will be taught at the CUC campus in Ixtapa (just north of the PV airport).

Intermediate level classes will be held on Monday from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.

Basic level classes will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.

Classes will begin on Monday, November 6, 2017 and will finish at Easter 2018 (April 1).

This is an opportunity for you to learn Spanish at no cost to you.

Free Malecon Sculpture Walking Tour - Tuesday

Spend a pleasant morning walking Puerto Vallarta’s Malecon while learning about the many bronze sculptures located along the waterfront.

Fascinating stories by tour guide Gary Thompson of Galeria Pacifico make for a fun and lively presentation.

This tour takes about two hours ending at Galeria Pacifico where one of the sculptors, Jim Demetro, is often present to explain the complex process of creating these sculptures. Complimentary beverages provided. The Tour is free but donations are gratefully accepted for the benefit of Los Mangos Public Library.

No reservations needed. Simply show up at the Millennia Sculpture by the Rosita Hotel on the Malecon on Tuesday between mid-November to April at 9:30 am. Although the tour is free, it is highly recommended that participants bring money to tip the sand sculpture artists as well as the Papantla Flyers.

Kitty Bingo at Margarita Grill - Wednesday

Returning for another fun-filled season — come play Bingo with us at Margarita Grill on Wednesday, November 15.  

We’ll be giving away great prizes like 200-peso gift certificates for Xocodiva Artisan Chocolates, Derby City Burgers, Joe Jack’s and Kaiser Maximilian, bottles of Bailey’s, tequila and wine, gorgeous jewelry, and MUCHO mas — plus our famous 50/50 raffle, and Margarita Grill’s food and drink specials just for us Bingo players!

Get there early for a good seat ~ cards go on sale at 4:30 pm; the fun starts at 5:00 pm.

Texas Festival Dinner Fundraiser - Wednesday

We are holding a fundraiser to benefit the children of Pasitos de Luz.

Our Texas Festival will be on Wednesday, November 15th 2017, starting at 7:00 pm in Secrets Vallarta Bay Hotel Puerto Vallarta.

The event takes place on the terrace and there will be a buffet with a variety of food from Chef Jhon Tesar "The fastest knife in Dallas."

There will also be dance numbers from the children of Pasitos de Luz, a presentation of their artwork, a silent auction, and great music.

International Billfish Tournament - Wednesday through Saturday

The 62nd edition of Puerto Vallarta's Billfish Tournament will be held November 15-18, 2017.

Registration will be held from 5:00 until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, November 16 at the Fishing Club Vallarta, Hamburgo 145 in Col. Versalles.

The opening ceremony at the Rosita Hotel will begin the three-day tournament at 7:00 on November 16. The anglers can take off anytime after midnight on the following two days of fishing.

Receptions and weigh-ins will be held each afternoon on the Marina Vallarta Boardwalk, next to the Marina del Rey condominiums between 1:00 and 6:00 pm. The Awards Ceremony will follow at the same venue at 7:00 pm on November 18.

ExPats in Vallarta Event Dinner - Thursday

We hope to see all of you at our fun-filled Dinners and Happy Hours in November. There is NO Charge for our events. You only pay for what you order.

Special Event Dinner at Las Adelitas - November 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Brewmasters Beer Festival - Saturday and Sunday

Puerto Vallarta will be a meeting point for lovers of the most popular alcoholic beverage in the world; Those who like to be tasters of different types of beers can enjoy a varied delicacy of these drinks during the Beer Festival to be held in this city.  

The Vallarta Institute of Culture announced that this festival will take place in its facilities during the weekend of the 18th and 19th of November, 2017, from 2:00 until 10:00 pm.

In this exhibition of traditional and artisan beers mainly produced in the country, but also international, visitors will be able to taste glasses and bottles of different brands in accessible prices.

Taco Festival at the Stadium - Saturday and Sunday

Tradition, flavors and many tacos ... in one place.

If you're a taco lover and fan of Mexican cuisine, you won't want to miss the second 2017 edition of Puerto Vallarta's Taco Fair (Feria del Taco) on Saturday and Sunday, November 18 & 19 from 2:00 until 11:00 pm.

Entry is free to the Taco Fest and you will be entertained with regional live music, offerings of tacos, beer, tequila and a lot more including Lucha Libra and receiving information about the history and origin of tacos.

Tickets of 100 pesos each will be available for food and beverage purchases.

Flavors of Punta Mita Fundraiser - Sunday

The much-anticipated Flavors of Punta Mita, the annual launch of the season event, will take place this year at the spectacular Kupuri Beach Club on Sunday, November 19 from 6:00 until 10:00 pm.

This popular “Welcome Back” event brings together some of our favorite local chefs, restaurants, tequila makers, wineries, guest DJs, and mixologists to showcase their signature or new offerings for the upcoming season.

Culinary delights by Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, The St Regis Punta Mita Resort, Si Señor, Tuna Blanca, Si Sushi, Blue Shrimp, Margarita, Spicemarket, Sufi, Punta Mercedes, Boca Deli, and more.

Proceeds of the evening go to our local charities Punta de Mita Foundation & Peace Punta de Mita Foundation.
