Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas chapter is information central for Democrats residing in Puerto Vallarta and Nayarit. We are concerned with registering voters and keeping them informed on what is happening with the Democratic Party back home in the USA. We hold events throughout the year to keep the Democrats Abroad community together and active. By the way, we love volunteers!
The September Democratic Debate Will Be One Night Only
Just 10 presidential candidates managed to qualify for the next debate, which will be three hours long.
In association with Democrats Abroad Costa Banderas, Incanto Vallarta will air the presidential debate on September 12 at 7:00 pm in the air-conditioned theatre. Early arrival is recommended, as seating is non-reserved.
Incanto will open at 4:00 pm. Enjoy the comfortable air-conditioned piano bar and Happy Hour 2X1 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.
The debate will be held in Houston on September 12, from 8:00 to 11 pm, Eastern time, and will be broadcast on ABC and Univision. The moderators will be George Stephanopoulos, David Muir, Linsey Davis and Jorge Ramos.
Candidates are:
• Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.
• Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey
• Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind.
• Julián Castro, the former housing secretary
• Senator Kamala Harris of California
• Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota
• Former Representative Beto O’Rourke of Texas
• Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont
• Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts
• Andrew Yang, a tech entrepreneur
For the September debate, the one-night format means the leading candidates will all share the stage for the first time. Because of the size of the previous debate fields, two of the highest-polling candidates, Mr. Biden and Ms. Warren, have yet to face each other directly. But on September 12, they will be next to each other at center stage, according to ABC News.
