Boutique Hospitals: A New Era in Puerto Vallarta

The goal of a boutique hospital to exceed expectations in patient and family care and medical services, as well as managing emotions and experiences to best benefit patient and family needs, both present and future.
"It’s about providing the best service to meet needs, monitoring and evaluating available resources, promoting research and ongoing education, and achieving good results through effective organization and processes," said Dr. Jorge Villanueva, General Director of CMQ Hospitals.
Unlike general hospitals and emergency wards, boutique hospitals limit the number of patients to provide the best levels of care and resources. General hospital wards will often contain over 40 beds on average but boutique hospitals limit ward size to no more than 20 beds and include rooms or suites with excellent finishes, art work, and reception areas with amenities to create warm and a different standard of patient experience and care.
The hospital's medical services include general and laparoscopic surgery, family medicine, anesthesiology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pediatrics, psychiatry, physiotherapy, urology, dentistry and nutritional care and is equipped with its own pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, intensive care unit and ambulance service.
CMQ Group, has experience and resources accumulated from 30 years of serving Vallarta, both foreigners and nationals.
The hospital proudly offers boutique services in the Old Town Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta.
